New planetarium show Ghosts of Jupiter: Music Experience opened this month and features local Boston band Ghosts of Jupiter, bringing audiences an audio/visual spectacular that will take you out of this world.  Now showing, you can find more information and show times at the museum's website: http://www.mos.org/exhibits_shows/planetarium&d=5505

This summer's featured exhibit is Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern Science, allowing museum goers to explore artifacts from one of the world’s first civilizations.  Visitors will see real mummies, advance their knowledge on an incredible historical era, and discover how modern science helps us learn more about the past each day.  Visitors can also get a taste of the exhibit creation process and help develop an exciting exhibition that will travel to museums around the country. The Museum is partnering with Pixar Animation Studios to create an exhibit about the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) concepts behind your favorite Pixar movies! The Mugar Omni Theater has two new IMAX movies. First, To the Arctic, narrated by Academy Award Winner Meryl Streep, is a real-life story about a mother polar bear’s struggle raising her two seven-month-old cubs in an ever-changing environment.  Second, Born to be Wild, narrated by Morgan Freeman, shows the extraordinary bond between humans and animals.  The film captures real-life, orphaned elephants and orangutans, the people who rescue and raise them, and their return to the wild.  For show times for all IMAX films: http://www.mos.org/exhibits_shows/imax

Lastly, the Butterfly Garden is a tropical oasis that looks over the Charles River.  Visitors get a chance to see a myriad of species of butterflies from New England and around the globe.  This is a great place to be on a rainy summer day! Yes, I believe there is life somewhere out there. Only a fool would believe we're the only life forms.

I believe if we exist there is just as much likelihood that life exists on other planets. We have just begun to scratch the surface of discovering other planets let alone learning whether there is life on them.

I don't have enough information to really answer that question. To my knowledge life is somewhat possible on other planets, but I'm mostly in disbelief about the whole ET idea.

Given the unlimited boundaries of the universe, it is likely that forms of life exist beyond the earth. I can't guess what form or forms life takes though.
