Toys: The Inside Story

Have you ever thought about breaking open your Etch A Sketch to find out how it works, or wondered what's inside your toys that make them shake, rattle, and roll? If so, don't miss Toys: The Inside Story!
Designed for children and families, you'll find 12 different hands-on stations showing the simple mechanisms found in toys. Create your own toy-like combinations of gears, pulleys, linkages, cams, and circuits.

TOYS was developed by the Montshire Museum of Science in Vermont, with funding from the National Science Foundation.
