Our first experience in a corn maze was an eventful one at that. Let's just say you don't want to be lost in a corn maze with a five year old after he's just gotten stung twice by yellow jackets...talk about feeling helpless and trapped with no way out ! All that aside, corn mazes are a growing trend in New England and a terrific way to get outdoors with the entire family and have some fun while supporting our local, New England farmers. The season usually runs from mid-July through October. Many of the mazes are themed and formatted treasure-hunt style with clues to lead you out. Be prepared to be good and lost for a couple of hours ! You may even want to bring a backpack with some water and snacks. Take heed, most mazes are designed with escape routes just in case you need to get out in an emergency. The following is a listing of New England corn mazes sorted by state.
